Company History

We are an Atlanta-based public relations firm that specializes in strategic planning, crisis communications and video production.

Georgia Strategy Group started as a humble company founded in Augusta, Ga. in 2015 under the brand Unico Communications. Our leadership team originally consisted of journalists covering city government issues in the Central Savannah River Area. It is because of that vast knowledge of the Augusta area that Kinder Morgan, the largest energy infrastructure company in North America, chose our company to handle its public affairs needs.

That small public relations team of Unico was able to educate and provide critical information to the general public, private and public sector, as well as the media on the multibillion dollar pipeline project coming to the area.

From there, our company has been able to launch into the industry as a major public relations player and grow Georgia Strategy Group into what it is today. Our team is made up of talented individuals with extensive knowledge in the areas of public affairs, political messaging, brand management, digital content production, storytelling and much more. We serve clients from all sectors, including both private and public, non-profits, elected officials and candidates seeking to gain office.
