Jorge Diez Principal

Jorge Diez is a results-focused leader and high-performing problem solver with a focus on strategic message campaigns and management. He is experienced at networking across cultures and crafting targeted messages to enhance public opinion or provide key information.

With experience as an executive-level leader in both government and the private sector, Jorge has a proficiency at bringing people together from diverse backgrounds.

While leading the Public Relations Department for one of metro Atlanta's fastest growing counties, Jorge managed a team of professionals while overseeing the county’s communications and branding efforts, major event planning, crisis communications, media relations, all social media pages, and 24-hour government access TV channel.

Jorge is bi-lingual in English and Spanish. This helped him negotiate land deals with people of multiple backgrounds for a pipeline project across multiple states. Even though his title was a public affairs consultant, his strategic planning skills helped North America’s largest energy infrastructure company avoid eminent domain cases across the area. His public relations skills took the spotlight at community hearings for the billion-dollar expansion project as he helped craft the message and manage time for the Vice President of Public Affairs.

Jorge also has more than a decade of public service experience from authoring several nationally-awarded grants, including funding for the first ever gang prevention program in Athens, Georgia.

During his early career as a television news reporter for CBS and NBC affiliated stations, he served the local community by reporting information with truth and integrity. His experience in media helped him build his network of contacts and learn the business inside out.

He believes the mark of a good leader is never asking your team to do something you are not willing to do. His creativity, enthusiasm, and copious record-keeping has earned him a reputation of being both dynamic and relatable.

Jorge is a graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Digital and Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Religious Studies.
